INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF NUCLEAR PHYSICS
The school brings together experts and young researchers in the areas of nuclear, hadron, heavy-ion and astro-physics. The aim is to provide the means to gain a broader view on these fields, discuss the current status and to explore future directions, both in experiment and theory. The school features one edition per year with a four year cicle of alternating themes like
(i) From quarks and gluons to hadrons and nuclei
(ii) Nuclei in the Laboratory and in Stars
(iii) QCD in extreme conditions - present and future
(iv) Neutrinos in Cosmology, in Astro-, Particle- and Nuclear Physics
We aim to cover a broad range of topics to elucidate synergies and identify areas of future progress. The topics are addressed by invited pedagogical overview talks given by international experts and more specialized contributed talks by the participants.
