INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TECHNOLOGY AND LAW

The school

Around the world, Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and their applications are the subject of extensive research and investment by international governments, universities and commercial entities.

AI is rapidly transforming various sectors of society, including the economy, healthcare, transport and governance. However, the technological, legal and ethical challenges posed by AI require immediate attention to ensure responsible and equitable integration into social infrastructure.

Despite the promise of significant benefits, the new challenges and risks of AI paradigms, methods and tools such as machine learning, deep learning, generative AI and predictive algorithms will require thorough and rapid assessment and awareness of their influence on public, private and social life and the legal frameworks that regulate them.

An International School specialising in Artificial Intelligence Technology and Law is designed to provide a unique platform for legal experts, artificial intelligence researchers, artificial intelligence professionals, policy makers and industry professionals to come together to share their knowledge and expertise with the School's participants (“students”).

The International School on Artificial Intelligence Technology and Law is a vital and innovative initiative that aims to bridge the gap between the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence technologies and the regulatory, ethical, normative and legal frameworks that govern their development and implementation.
