The aim of this school will be to train the new generation of oncologists who will use personalised treatments after molecular characterisation of each neoplasm. The transition from conventional antiblastic chemotherapy, based on the histotype and clinical staging of organ malignancies, to targeted molecular therapy (including therapeutic anti-neoplastic vaccines) represents the new frontier of Oncology. The courses of this school will disseminate the most innovative knowledge and technologies on pathogenesis, molecular and immunological characterisation, diagnosis, and treatment of neoplasms.
